Systematics of this genus for Central Europe is almost finished yet (exept some infraspecific hybrids of Delphinium elatum). In Delphinium subgen. Delphinastrum in continental Europe I expect no more taxonomical changes, and Delphinium subgen. Delphinium in mediterranean Europe has been worked out by Spanish collegues (Cèsar BLANCHÉ, Maria BOSCH, Julia MOLERO, Joan SIMON) in the last years. So a monography for this genus in Europe is to await in near future./Die Systematik dieser Gattung in Mittel-Europa ist weitgehend fertig bearbeitet (ausgenommen einiger infraspezifischen Hybriden von Delphinium elatum. Bei Delphinium subgen. Delphinastrum im kontinentalen Europa erwarte ich keine taxonomischen Änderungen mehr, und Delphinium subgen. Delphinium im mediterranen Europa wurden in den letzten Jahren von spanischen Kollegen (Cèsar BLANCHÉ, Maria BOSCH, Julia MOLERO, Joan SIMON) aufgearbeitet. Somit ist wohl in naher Zukunft eine Monographie der europäischen Rittersporne zu erwarten.

Following fields are planned in the database: name, author, infrageneric position, synonyms, distribution, typus-sheets, locus classicus./Die Vorarbeiten für eine Rittersporn-Datenbank sind im Laufen. Geplant sind folgende abrufbare Felder: Namen, Autor, infragenerische Stellung, Synonyme, Verbreitung, Typus-Belege, Typus-Lokalität.
