Beginning with Styria in my diploma work I have extended the area of
investigation to Austria in my doctor thesis. For the third edition of HEGI,
Vol III/3 (Illustrated Flora of Central Europe), this area has been
investigated. Partly in cooperation with Dr. Józef MITKA from Kraków/Poland
the systematics of this genus in Eastern Europe could be worked out and is
finished now. In Northern Europe (including the British Isles) occur just 4
Aconitum species, which are not really critical. Still to investigate and
surely with several taxonomical problems remain the areas of Western Europe
(especially the Iberian peninsula and the Pyrenees) and Southern Europe (especially
the Balcan peninsula)./Im Rahmen meiner Diplomarbeit
wurde die Gattung für das Gebiet der Steiermark bearbeitet und danach in
meiner Dissertation auf ganz Österreich ausgeweitet. Für die 3. Auflage von
HEGI, Band III/3 (Illustrierte Flora von Mitteleuropa) wurde auch dieses
Gebiet bearbeitet. Zum Teil in Zusammenarbeit mit Dr. Josef MITKA aus
Krakau/Polen konnte die Systematik dieser Gattung in Ost-Europa
aufgearbeitet werden und ist nun abgeschlossen. In Nord-Europa
(einschließlich der Britischen Inseln) kommen nur 4 Eisenhut-Arten vor, und
diese sind nicht kritisch. Noch zu untersuchen und sicherlich mit noch
vielen taxonomischen Schwierigkeiten behaftet bleibt die Systematik der
Gattung in West-Europa (besonders auf der Iberischen Halbinsel und in den
Pyrenäen) und in Süd-Europa (besonders auf dem Balkan).
Preliminary preparations have already begun. Following fields are planned in
the database: name, author, infrageneric position, synonyms, distribution,
typus-sheets, locus classicus./Die Vorarbeiten für eine
Eisenhut-Datenbank sind im Laufen. Geplant sind folgende abrufbare Felder:
Namen, Autor, infragenerische Stellung, Synonyme, Verbreitung, Typus-Belege,
Typus-Lokalität.
